MEMBERSHIP AND PROCEDURE TO ADMIT MEMBERS

Any person who accepts in writing the objects of the society, agrees to abide by Rules of the Society, pays in full, the amount of subscriptions as decided by the Governing Council, who has completed the age of 18 at the time of becoming a member of the society and whose, application for membership has been duly sanctioned by the Governing Council. Governing Council  Governing Council reserve the right to accept or not to accept the member and the decision of the Governing Council shall be binding on the applicant.

Members of the Association shall be of the following categories:

1. Founder Member

2. Life Member

3. Provisional Member

Founder Member: All  present trustee / members will become founder members of the society on the day this Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulations are signed by them. Every Founder member shall have a right to attend and participate in the meeting of the Governing Body and the vote at such meeting and shall be eligible for contesting the election. Every Founder member has to pay a subscription of Rs. 15000/- (Fifteen thousand only) every year to remain eligible for re-election.

Life Member:  A person who is a provisional member for at least 3 consecutive years and is referred by the existing governing body and also satisfies all the requirements in (As per MEMBERSHIP AND PROCEDURE TO ADMIT MEMBERS) above and pays a subscription of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand only) one time will be eligible to become the Life member. The Governing Council will consider such person and if found fit by 2/3 majority of Governing Council, will become Life Member. Every Life member shall have a right to attend and participate in the meeting of the Governing Body and to vote at such meeting and shall be eligible for contesting the election. Every life member has to pay a subscription of Rs. 5000/- (Five thousand only) every year to remain eligible for re-election.

CESSATION OF MEMBERSHIP:

A person shall cease to member of the Society on

 

(a) Resignation,

​

(b) Death,

 

(c) His being declared insolvent,

​

(d) Who, has acted against the interest of this Society,

 

(e) His being convicted by a Court of law of any other offence,

​

(f) His being out of India for more than Six Consecutive months.

​

(g) On being removed by the Governing Council provided however that the Governing Council shall give the opportunity to such a member of being heard.

Provisional Member: Any person who satisfies all the requirements in (As per MEMBERSHIP AND PROCEDURE TO ADMIT MEMBERS) above and pays a subscription of Rs. 5000/- (Five thousand only) every year will be eligible to become the Provisional Member. The Governing Council will consider such person and if found fit by 1/2 majority of Governing Council, will become Provisional Member. Provisional Member shall NOT have a right to attend and participate in the meeting of the Governing Body and to vote at such meeting and shall NOT be eligible for contesting the election. However Provisional Member shall be eligible to attend the Annual Meeting of the General Body.
